A Curriculum for Transformative Foundations

Professor Mere Berryman shares her thoughts for a transformative curriculum, one that creates social change for equity.

Berryman is a Professor with the University of Waikato, and Director of Poutama Pounamu. She is of Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Awa and Ngāti Whare descent. Berryman aims to challenge the pervasive and historical discourses that perpetuate educational disparities for Māori students and disrupt these through school leadership and reform initiatives.
