Te Marautanga o Aotearoa


O'Sonia Hotereni outlines Te Marautanga o Aotearoa, a unique Māori medium curriculum document created by Māori for Māori, which acknowledges the importance culture plays for every Māori child.

Hotereni is a Resource Teacher of Māori based at Te Whata Tau o Putauaki in Kawerau. He uri ia nō Ngai Tai. She is also a long-standing member leader of NZEI Te Riu Roa Te Reo Areare, and a respected Kaumatua of the union.
